Construction contracting works in two main ways; fixed fee and cost plus. As builders we shouldn’t be afraid of talking to clients about our methods. In fact, we should be the ones leading the discussions about our businesses. In this video Jake discusses why his firm operates on a cost-plus contract and how he handles discussion with clients, billing, and estimating in the cost-plus realm.
