Reporting in from the Delta booth at the 2016 International Builders Show, Matt Risinger talks with a Delta rep at their booth about their partnership with Cosella Dorken on creation of extremely durable weather-resistant barriers. They delve down into best practices and product formulation, including the Delta Dry Technology, which is rainscreen material with a filter fabric and added synthetic lap on the outside. All these products are designed to make buildings last longer. The guys also discuss Façade S material - a new façade and cladding system offering a lifetime of protection from UV exposure with a super durable coating, The Denver Botanic Gardens building is mentioned, as it was built utilizing some of these cutting edge, weather-resistant products. Lastly, the free Construction Instruction app is discussed, and the benefits of the app such as being able to send information right to an architect or installer.
