Drywall - when you understand how it works - just makes sense for modern building. Drywall boards are made out of gypsum which has been a building material for centuries. It was used to construct the pyramids, and in its purest form, selenite, it was used for temple windows in ancient Greece. Gypsum also has fire-resistant properties; when heated it releases steam instead of catching on fire. Pretty cool!
