According to Jake Bruton, communication is one of the most important aspects of the building process. On one job, there could be about 300 people working -- from contractors to architects to foundation to insulators and all of the day-to-day employees. While plans may have everything noted, it doesn't mean that everything is always clear.
That's why Jake's team started incorporating "grafitti" onto job sites for easy on-site communication. This provides easy access to the little details that wouldn't be caught just by looking at the plans. These notes around the job provide the opportunity for clear communication that can occurr simply by spray painting some notes on the building. They also allow contractors to walk around and discover things that may not work, but couldn't really be caught until seeing it right in front of their eyes.
