Let’s explore “What’s changing (and why) in ventilation?”
We’ll look at the ventilation systems of built projects in a range of shapes and sizes. Are big residential buildings different from small residential buildings? Can we have one basic set of rules to apply across all building volumes? Where is the code now, and where do we see it headed? How does it affect air tightness and other building physics? Can ventilation impact the heating and cooling loads? Can builders manage these changes across the economic range of housing? Are homes getting too complicated to build and manage? Or are we really being successful in providing healthier spaces for our clients? All of these questions, and more, answered in this live event.
What You'll Learn:
- Ventilation code requirements and best practices are changing. You will see it in your AHJ soon.
- Balanced Ventilation is in. Depressurized buildings are out.
- Regional density and climate change have changed the air we breathe. Some key states now require particle filters on incoming air.
