There's always more than one way to do things. In this video, Master Builder Matt Risinger, visits a friend's worksite to show another method for window flashing. You may be familiar with the window flashing technique where you use flex-wrap as the base for a site made sill pan. In this video, you can see a Grace Vycor corner below the butyl tape that forms the foundation for the sill pan. The plastic corner piece ensures that any water that runs down the window will continue to stream down the exterior of the building, as opposed to inside the Tyvek wrap. This window flashing process is another great way to ensure your windows don't leak into the building.
