Home VAULT Room on the CHEAP!

We join Matt Risinger today in Texas hill country, visiting Tyler Jarratt with Voltaire
builders to check out a DIY safe and vault or safe room that Tyler is building for some clients in
their new home construction project. First Matt takes us all the way through the construction
site as it exists now, talking about various details of the job. When they finally get to the vault
room (12:36 into the video) he shows how the walls are constructed and what the security door
will look like when attached. The plan wasn’t for it to be 100% fireproof, but it’s got some fire-
resistance due to the construction. For not a lot of money, he’s giving the clients a secure place
to store things like firearms.
