Home Trimless Doors and Flush Base

Matt is with Sean Suter from Suter Homes to discuss some common questions he gets a lot about trimless doors and flush bases. For starters, how do you start before drywall? Sean uses a 4-inch spacer block. At the door, the drywall is flushed with the framig, then post-drywall the door jam is installed. Then they take a spacer block to trace drywall which gives an extra 1/8-inch gap for play. Once the door jam is in, they install an aluminum reglet. This was just a high-level look at some of the fine details you'll get from Sean in this episode.
