Home Stair Squeak Insurance Policy - Do this Bomber Method!
As a builder it must be frustrating getting a callback on a set of stairs you built that has a squeak. In this video, Matt Risinger points out some tips and tricks to get any staircase tightened. Risinger first talks about which stringers are being used, which risers are being used and what he is uses for the treads. However, if the framer did not do a good job on the stairs Risinger shows us how get insurance by tightening up the stairs. Risinger discusses the use of a two-tank foam kit to apply an extra layer of adhesive to the underside of the stairs making for a really tight set of stairs. Risinger shows which spray head to use, where to place the foam, and how to spray the foam to get the most out of the kit. With this bomber method for tightening stairs you will never have to worry about a squeaky staircase again.
