Steve Bazcek takes us back to the ranch remodel to look at the specialty ceilings. 

Now that we've been introduced to the ranch remodel, let's explore the special details throughout. According to Steve, there will be four distinctly different ceilings throughout the home. Starting in the front entryway, we're acquainted with a shallow, recessed tray that provides a formal space with some excitement. There will be drywall around the perimeter but the center will incorporate Doug Fir with square receessed lighting. Some of this Fir will be seen in other places throughout the home. 

Steve will take us through to explore the volume ceilings set up like an A frame, the flat ceilings, sloped ceilings, and, one of Steve's favorites, the V Barrel vaulted ceiling.

Remember: It's great to have a lot of nice things, but we need to place value on certain aspects of the design. What's justifiable? Consider budgets, but also don't have too much of a great thing because it diminishes its value.
