Hello ALL, this isn’t your grandpa’s slab detail!! This is an insulated concrete slab detail using sound building science, current/common materials, with a little twist on thought. The result – you get a fully insulated, thermally broken, floor system, that allows for any floor finish available on top. Did I mention the insulation is UNBROKEN? CONTINUOUS? This is Building Science meeting aesthetic needs in residential design.
