Home Recycled Pine Shiplap Milled For Flooring
Watch as a Carpenters mill some 100 year old pine 1x10 shiplap boards and turns them into a hardwood floor for a 1950's house being remodeled in South Austin, Texas. An Amana Bit set for 3/4" tongue and groove router bit set is used to turn the shiplap into tongue and grove floorboards. Shiplap boards are those that rest on top of each other and overlap. Tongue-and-groove planks join and interlock. Watch the whole process and see the result of the reclaimed wood flooring.
