Home REAL Remodels: I Bought This Crappy 1970’s House

Debuting a new segment for focus on The BUILD Show, Matt Risinger brings us episode 1 of REAL Remodels. Matt purchased a 1970's home and wants to be upfront and transparent with regard to costs on a middle-class American budget. In this episode, he squashes the typical TV remodel show that sets false expectations and gets down to real work and real numbers.

This 70s house Matt purchased to turn into a VRBO property is in need of an enormous amount of work, and Matt takes us around the exterior and into the interior property to begin talking about what all needs to be done – which is basically everything; performance upgrades, durability, but also keeping costs relatively low compared to some of his regular jobs. They get well into some nitty gritty here about how to update a house without tearing out walls and with keeping the costs in line.

Manufacturers interested in being a part of this project, please contact pete@buildproductions.com.
