This video features Matt Risinger and his paint contractor in a 1940s house they're remodeling. Risinger has used PPG's flat paint for years, and when this video was released, PPG's Pure Performance Paint had just become available in a latex-based paint with zero-VOCs. He shows us the interior of the house, which they've just finished spraying with primer coat to prep and ready it for this paint. The two discuss the positives of this paint product over the oil-based paint they used to use. This lays down just as nicely, but has no smell, no offgassing, and no need for paint thinner. It covers well and there's no harmful, unpleasant fumes either for workers or the residents once they move back in. For more recommendations, visit Risinger's blog at www.MattRisinger.com.
