Making the most of outdoor finished areas like screened porches often includes the addition of an electric resistance heater. This week, Travis and his electrical apprentice install a 240 volt, 3000 watt, single element wall mounted heater with a double pole switch instead of a thermostat. They discuss the install and what challenges must be overcome to extend the usefulness of these outdoor spaces into the winter months.
