Let's rewind time and watch Steve discuss the floor framing system at the Hilltop Aarow house. "Mother Nature doesn’t give a dam what we think. She has her rules and we need to comply or fail. Out at the Hilltop Aarow House, our floor framing is open to the underneath (no basement). Yes, it is suspended above the ground by the board-formed concrete piers. These choices posed a series of building science challenges. In this video, with the help of Big Red, we walk thru some of the challenges and the solutions we provided for them.
