Continuity of a thermal control layer is key to having a comfortable, energy efficient home. The original design called for a thermally broken slab to be the finished floor of a home.  When a mistake compromised the thermal conductivity of the concrete floors on this new construction project Jake and his crew came up with a simple solution.
