In this video, Matt Risinger chats with his friend Doug Cameron about his insulated roof deck. Cameron talks about how he is using the Huber's Zip-R up on his roof build as well as a liquid flash system. By using this, Cameron says that the build is gaining a superior weather and air resistant barrier. This method is not a Huber approved detail yet but will possibly be in the future. To make sure this was going to work Cameron talked to his engineer about things like fasteners and uplift. Lastly, Cameron tells us about the compression tests he and his team have conducted and the final roofing materials to perfect this build.
