Home How to Flash a Window in Tar Paper

A lot of builders use tar paper to waterproof houses, even though tar paper can be tricky to make water and airtight. In this video, Matt Risinger will be showing us how to use an old school product to get that grade A waterproofing. Risinger is not advocating the use of tar paper but showing a method to flash correctly. The house Risinger is working on has two layers of number 30 felt paper which is used as a weather barrier. He brings in Jake Badger to help show off the PROSOCO and details required to get the best water barrier from tar paper. Risinger and Badger talk specs and solutions.
