Like a bullseye, towns grown in concentric circles. The bullseye is the center of town and then circles of growth radiate out from the middle. This is easily seen in small towns I’ve driven through, where the new houses are seen first, then the houses get older and older until you hit the town square. Understanding how your city has grown up and its history makes you a smarter, more well-informed builder who understands house styles and building.
