Home Home School or Office - Design Tips

Matt Risinger recently transformed a living space into a home office, with a short tour of some of the features and special extras he put in to take the space to the next level. Attention to detail is one of the most important things about this type of project, as well as intelligent design. With forethought about actual use, he installed an inexpensive brace to hold the desktop up in the center without it being something clunky you'd knock your knees into. The cabinetry he demonstrates all has a soft, hydraulic close, so no slamming of cabinet doors (get some of your own at www.sugatsune.com). His crew worked on this for just a few days but transformed the space into an awesome home work environment. Check out the video to see the almost hidden closet and other extra touches that demonstrate how planning and attention to detail make all the difference.
