Home Framing Basement Headers
"Basement headers are in almost every project we do. In terms of window location, the window is always set high in the concrete foundation wall. Rarely is there a lot of room available for the headers. In this video, we look at how we can “tuck” the header into the floor framing above. Of course, Big Red joins in and offers aid in the discussion, and helps highlight the important concepts of framing in basement windows. It’s a small part of the overall project, but nonetheless, it is an important small part….Enjoy the video."
