Home Foundation Waterproofing

Let's talk basement and foundation drainage with Steve. Check out this traditional concrete wall. Steve points to a couple of things worth noting: the green line, spray applied membrane on the foundation, and the protection insulation board working as a system. This specific orientation allows water to traverse it so moisture that migrates in falls along the multiple layers of the insulation board and down to the drain tile.It also provides protection for the spray applied membrane as the excavator is working.

Steve will take us back to the drafting table to talk more about the green line that he talks about a lot in this video.
