When bidding drywall you need to keep in mind you are estimating off the wall and ceiling square footage, not the floor footage. A simple formula to quickly come up with an estimate is 4 x Sq Ft of the house. This is just handy for very rough estimates, make sure you are walking the job to get your most accurate bid number. Also, make sure you are paying yourself! No one wants to work for free!
