Catch up on what you need to know about running a concrete slump test. Matt Risinger joins Hussein from Holt Engineers to help perform the concrete slump test. What's that? This is a test to figure out how much water is in the concrete. Walk through the test step by step as they go through. Risinger and Hussein start by cleaning the 12-inch cone to make sure no concrete will stick to it. They then proceed to fill the cone with concrete, get the air out and level the concrete in the cone. Measuring the slump of the concrete is necessary in order to determine how much water needs to be added or if the concrete is usable.
