Home Ready Frame: Framing Day 1

Day one of framing always a fun day for a builder. Watch as Matt and the team are just two and a half hours in and already seeing that Ready Frame is faster than alternative methods.

He’s onsite with precut studs for 2x6 framing, sheathing, taller studs, the Ready Frame package and the floor trusses. One of the unique characteristics is the labeling of the bundles. Bulked with little straps and labels for king studs, bottom plates, cripples, standard length studs, etc.

Notice that there are absolutely NO saws around in the background. That’s because everything—even the header—is ready to go and well-labeled, so everyone knows exactly where the cripples go. Decide on details such as timber strand headers, LBL, or standard 2x6 yellow pine with the teams over at Builders First Source.
