Matt Risinger shows us how using new materials correctly can enhance a project. PVC details can be milled just like wood, but last a lifetime without rotting and require less frequent painting. In a recently renovated 1940's house, Risinger's team created a custom milled entry out of Azek, which is a PVC product. One cool thing about this product is that the team was able to build with it like traditional wood. The top has beautiful crown molding with a custom flashing and all the pieces are solid PVC, so they were made to last. Risinger has hopes that the remodel will last through at least 2050 or even longer.
