Architect Nick Deaver leads a tour of a remodeled 70's house in the Northwest Hills of Austin. In this segment, he's touring the crowd through the master bedroom and bath. The bedroom features large windows, with the idea of connecting the indoor space directly with nature. The trim throughout the house was used in effort to elevate the ceilings. The Mahogany bedroom door is the only one in the home that is almost as high as the ceiling. In fact, there aren't many doors in this home at all, which keeps the space open but doesn't compromise privacy.The master bath features a separate dressing area, plus skylights in the shower area that lets an abundance of natural light in (which is especially incredible in the morning).
