Home AIR BARRIERS and RED LINES

Building can be approached with simplicity – or we can complicate the hell out of it. When it comes to airtightness, two things come to mind; 1. What is the air barrier? And 2. Where is the “Red Line”? Now BIG RED obviously talks “Red Lines” and it has a major role in explaining airtightness. When we understand the 2 points, then we can ask the simplest of questions, “Are you INSIDE? Or OUTSIDE? There is no maybe so in the game of airtightness, you are IN OR OUT. In this video we look and the air barrier and the red line, and with the help of the wall section we can clearly answer the question, IN OR OUT?
