Home WINDOW INSTALLED

This week Steve continues the chat about windows. We go out to the Modern Farmhouse project and check out a window recently installed. He talks about the windows being used on the project and the methods by which the control layers are being maintained at the window install. He then takes you back to the studio to talk about the window sill installation detail specifically. Of course “Big Red” joins the conversation. Together they mark up the detail while discussing basic concepts of water management, rainscreens, end dams, and airsealing continuity. Windows are a huge topic of discussion…..this is a great play to start that discussion ……Long Live Our Buildings.
