Home The Perfect Block

That’s what they call it! Well the more I dive into to it, the more it impresses me. When you build on an island, new challenges emerge when building. These challenges become the basis upon which you look for alternative answers to typical questions. But you need the right client and builder on the team. In this video, I introduce a new project, the “Vineyard Passive House” in this video. It just so happens that Farley, the homeowner/client, is also the builder. We start with the foundation, and while the typical foundation is a cast concrete wall – this is anything but typical…….yes, we are using the “Perfect Block”. In this video I introduce the Perfect Block and why Farley and I think it was the right choice for this project…..Enjoy the video, and of course….Long Live Our Buildings….
