……this week we journey outside to take a look at the new front entry of the Ranch Remodel project. Not originally in the scope of he project, I convinced my clients that a front entry overhaul was the right thing to do. After convincing them, we set out to figure out exactly what we were going to do, and exactly how we were going to do it. Beautiful brick piers using salvaged brick from the old portico were topped with a stone cap and Tapered PVC column wraps fabricated by Traditional Wood Works out of Berwick ME. Of course “BIG RED” joins in and helps us explain the section thru the piers and what exactly is holding up the new front porch. It’s a beautiful addition to the project and really establishes a wonderful welcome upon arriving at the house. Enjoy the video my friends……Long Live Our Buildings.
