In this video, we show how to use screws in conjunction with a laser level to pre-shim a rough opening to prepare it for a cased opening. Although there is nothing wrong with just using standard wooden shims for this application, it can be helpful to understand different ways of approaching a project so you have a better understanding of the tools available to you.
