This week we venture out to our ranch remodel and take a look at the wainscoting installation by Traditional Woodwork. It is a vertical grain doug fir, and it’s beautiful. A number of design considerations went into the scale, orientation, height, and the sense of order. Good design is established with purpose. In this video we highlight the features of the wainscoting used here to define that purpose. Of course “Big Red” joins in and helps out in the in depth explanation.
