Jake chats with Matt Blomquist, teacher at Taylorville Illinois High School - Building Trades Program. We'll Step inside the mobile classroom, an old camper trailer that the kids ripped apart to practice welding and other building techniques. Matt can get hands on with his students due to the great support of the community that propels this learning environment forward. 

Currently, the students in his class are learning building science skills and how to build an actual house -- skills such as wall framing and power tool usage. His goal is to teach them how to be good employees and great beginner assets to a company upon graduation. If done right, he'll produce students that don't need to learn certain basic skills on the first day of work.
