Multi-Generational Home on a Budget
Steve teams up with Nu-Wool and meets with Heath Walker to discuss their various insulation products that are being used on the Multi-Gen home which include spray-in insulation, eco-cell batts, and more. Not only do Nu-Wool products have amazing R-Values, they are also great for deadening sound and we look at how this insulation is being strategically placed to help optimize the noise level and livability of this multi-generational build. This awesome insulation came all the way from Michigan and is made of recycled material. Nu-Wool even takes trash away to reuse in their insulation. We talk about their certified installer program as well as do some water and fire tests on their products just to show you how heavy duty this stuff really is. Then we meet with Diego Oliver of Oliver Plastering to talk about the important prep work they do in installing their products as well as what specific drywall products and techniques they are using on this job.
